Sheldon was heavily oversubscribed for entry in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2013.
However, with much smaller Year 6 populations in 2012 to 2014, the chances of getting a place has improved significantly and the likelihood of gaining a place is now very good. For the first time in five years, places in 2012 were available to pupils living outside both catchment areas.
Whether Sheldon is just full or very full, parents who put Sheldon as their first choice school do not reduce their chance of getting their second or third choice school. It is worth noting that all students who gained places for September 2013 had nominated Sheldon as their first preference school. So if Sheldon is your preferred choice, we would strongly recommend that you place us first. |
