Sheldon A Level Results Top in South West
Sheldon's 2011 A level results were once again the best in the South West region.

The Department for Education's league tables show that Sheldon was 24th in the country.

The students average A level point score was 957, the highest ever achieved at Sheldon.  The points scale used by the Department for Education gives 270 points for an A level A grade and 240 points for a B.  So the Sheldon points score is equivalent to an average student achievement of about four B grades at A level.

The Independent newspaper published a table of the Top 100 comprehensive schools on Thursday 26 January 2012.
