SEN event with Dr Steve Chinn
We would like to invite parents, teachers, SENCOs, numeracy co-ordinators, heads of maths faculties, teaching assistants and SEN governors to the presentations to be given on Thursday 28th June by Dr Steve Chinn - a leading authority on maths, dyslexia and dyscalculia.

Dr Chinn is an internationally recognised expert trainer and lecturer and is the author of several publications, including the highly acclaimed ‘The Trouble with Mathematics’.

His new book, ‘More Trouble with Maths: A Complete Guide to Identifying and Diagnosing Mathematical Difficulties’ has just been published.

He taught for 40 years in mainstream schools, in both Further and Special Education and was Head of three special schools for dyslexic students including Mark College, which he founded.

Dr Chinn runs training courses for teachers across the UK and has lectured on learning difficulties in maths in over 30 countries worldwide.

He is well known and a much in demand speaker. Attendance at his training can be expensive, but Dr Chinn has kindly waived his fee for us and instead, at the event, will be requesting donations to his nominated charity – the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association.

We hope teaching staff and parents will take advantage of this amazing opportunity and we look forward to welcoming large audiences to these presentations.

Full details including how to book places on this flyer.
