Sheldon's website is back on-line after a major re-design.
The site will provide parents, pupils and visitors with information about the school. It will also aim to provide a flavour of many of the exciting activities taking place at Sheldon.
Ideas for things you'd like to see on this site will be welcome.
The new design has been led by Mr MacMahon who says: "That explains the delay in getting things on line! I hope people are impressed with the look of the site and will e-mail me if they spot any errors."
"The re-launch has been timed to coincide with the publication of our Ofsted report so that parents can have an easy way to access the full report."
"I realise that there are areas of the
website which need to be developed, but overall I think we are ready to go public."
The intention is for the site to be informative, rather than try to develop an on-line learning environment. That may come with time and already pupils will be able to access their own files remotely.
There are many things we would like to add to the site. There are areas for each faculty to provide information and over time a lot more photographs will be added to convey the atmosphere of life at Sheldon School.
