Learning Support

At Sheldon School we believe that all pupils are entitled to an inclusive education that enables them to fulfil their potential. While the majority of pupils’ needs will be met through Quality First Teaching, we recognise that a number of pupils will require additional support and encouragement to make the most of their opportunities at school.

As a school we are committed to doing our best to support these pupils. We strive to ensure pupils with SEND are fully integrated into our school community, feel safe and confident at school and make good academic progress. Our strong relationships with parents, outside agencies and the pupils themselves are central to the success of our SEND provision.

If you have any questions about special educational needs, or about what we might be able to provide for your son or daughter, including provision for gifted or talented pupils, please do not hesitate to contact me at school.
