Mr Michael Seeley

Assistant Headteacher, Head of Sixth Form

I started my teaching career in 1989 after six successful years in retail management with Clarks Shoes.

Sheldon is now my fifth school. I have worked in Bedfordshire, North Oxfordshire and Coventry and taught a wide range of subjects – geography, history, RS, leisure and tourism, sociology and government and politics, and even for a short time, drama, dance and maths.

I have been at Sheldon since 2007 and greatly enjoy my role as Head of Sixth Form – regarded by many as the best teaching job there is. Seeing young people mature and develop into confident young adults is a great privilege and I am proud of the achievements in our large sixth form. My aim now is to see the Sixth Form go from success to even greater success.
