Information for parents who have applied (or are thinking of applying) for a place at Sheldon
OPEN DAYS
Sheldon's Open Days for parents and their year 5 children are on Wednesday 25th and Thursday 26th June 2008. These events provide an opportunity to visit Sheldon and see the school on a normal working day. They are aimed at parents of children who will be applying for admission in September 2009. PROSPECTIVE PARENTS EVENING
The Open Evening for parents of pupils beginning secondary school in 2009 is on Thursday 25th September 2008. There are introductory sessions in the school hall at 7pm and 7.30pm.
The deadline for applications will be noon on Friday 17 October 2008, forms will come to parents via primary schools. They are sent directly to the Wiltshire admissions team (or South Gloucestershire if that is your home local authority) or completed on line. You can access the Wiltshire on-line admissions system here.
