Enrichment Fund Guidance

Guidance for bidding for grants from the Enrichment Fund

The bid should "advance the education of pupils at Sheldon School by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities and experiences to enrich the education at the school".

Bids should avoid anything that should be funded from the school budget.

No bid is too small.

No bid is too large as funding could be spread over several years.

A bid should demonstrate that the outcomes of the project/spending will benefit a significant number of pupils. For example a bid for an individual might still succeed if there was something given back to the school afterwards.

Part cost of a project will be considered.

Examples of sources of bids are: faculties, year groups, sports teams, school council, year councils, tutor groups, individuals, clubs and societies.

Urgent bids outside the normal bidding rounds will be considered. Gerard MacMahon will arrange for an email to be set up which can be used by trustees to view and discuss bids.
