Boys' Dress
Trousers
mid or dark grey (not black), not too tight nor too flared, in a plain style. Jeans or jeans-style trousers of any colour or material are forbidden.
Shirt
white plain long- or short-sleeved shirt without motifs or other decoration. Shirts must have a proper collar, suitable for wearing with a tie.
Socks
white, black, navy or grey
School tie
obtainable from the school office or Scholars. Worn wide end out and of waist length.
Pullover
V-neck, long-sleeved navy pullover (without motifs or patterns) or V-neck long-sleeved sweatshirt with the school logo*. School pullover/sweatshirt must be worn from September until Easter. Cardigans, and sweatshirts without logo, are not acceptable.
Shoes
plain grey, black or brown strongly-made shoes only. High heels and platform soles constitute a safety hazard and are forbidden. Training shoes are not permitted other than in PE.
Girls' Dress
Skirt or Trousers
mid or dark grey. Skirt to allow free movement. Light grey or black straight skirts or tubes with slits or decorations - buttons, tabs or zips - are forbidden. Skirts should be approximately knee length. For trousers please follow the boys' requirements.
Shirt or Blouse
white long- or short-sleeved without motifs or other decoration. Shirts must have a proper collar, suitable for wearing with a tie.

Outdoor coats
plain, preferably lightweight and waterproof. Denim jackets in any style or colour are forbidden. Shirts, sweatshirts, training tops, cardigans etc must not be worn as substitutes for outdoor coats.
Jewellery
the only items of jewellery permitted are ONE signet ring and ONE stud or sleeper per ear.
Hairstyles etc
extreme hairstyles, nose studs and other forms of body piercing are not permitted.
Make-up
visible make-up and nail varnish are NOT permitted.
