Alliance Pharmaceuticals is an international pharmaceutical & healthcare products company with its global headquarters located in the centre of Chippenham. We started trading in 1998 and have grown strongly to an annual turnover around £100 million and employing around 200 employees.

Bishop Fleming Chartered Accountants
Bishop Fleming Chartered Accountants work with businesses and individuals throughout the UK. Chippenham Borough Lands Charity
Chippenham Borough Lands is a place-based grant making charity with the aim of helping the people of Chippenham. We support welfare, education, arts and community projects. We give grants to individuals, charities, groups and organisations whilst also providing buildings, facilities and open space in Chippenham.
We help eligible individuals with aspects such as food vouchers, mobility aids, white goods, childcare costs, training courses, travel passes, transport costs and furniture. We give yearly funding to our local college and schools towards the enrichment of pupils’ education. This includes providing funding for trips, workshops and new resources. We also provide support to different charity and non-profit organisations that provide a service that benefits Chippenham residents.
The Borough Lands now consist of over 70 acres of land, in the centre of Chippenham, which we maintain for community use. We have investments that generate an approximate annual budget of £500K for the Charity to use solely for the benefit of Chippenham’s inhabitants. By benefiting the people of Chippenham and only those within the area, we can maintain high levels of support that aid a diverse range of individuals and groups in the local community. Knorr-Bremse Rail develops and manufactures advanced, connected systems which are used in passenger and freight trains around the world. In the UK, Knorr-Bremse operates from five locations delivering systems and services which keep trains performing and running safely. Knorr-Bremse Rail UK has its headquarters in Melksham, Wiltshire.
Mannings Facilities Management Ltd
FACILITIES MANAGEMENT CAPABILITIES & ASSOCIATED DISCIPLINES:
MFM maintains a wide range of properties from Commercial Offices, Industrial Sites, Council Buildings, Healthcare, Laboratories, Schools and Universities, to all types of retail premises, Hotels and Leisure Complexes.
MFM install and maintain air conditioning equipment. We also carry out new / replacement installation work on heating plant / systems, including Boiler / Burner and associated equipment maintenance. We offer a bespoke service through our in-house design team.
MFM’s skilled mobile workforce is trained to carry out compliance servicing on all types of HVAC plant and is fully supported by technical backup. All MFM personnel attend regular training courses to keep them up to date with changing technology and current compliance legislation.
MFM offer full test and inspection for all electrical compliance requirements. MFM can provide engineering staff at the client’s premises full time, or technicians who carry out periodic scheduled maintenance activities.
Established in 2004 by two local GPs to provide Doctors Out of Hours cover to the residents of Wiltshire, the company has grown from strength to strength and today also provides monitoring of telecare alarms, a mobile care response service and operates the single point of access for referral management across Wiltshire. MJ Church is a dynamic business offering a diverse range of services from skip hire and waste collection through to multi million-pound civil engineering construction services.
Established in 1974, the company operates three divisions from three main sites in the Chippenham area. Star Farm, Marshfield is the company head office as well as the hub for the plant and transport divisions. Waste Management is operated out of a site on the A420 and also operates a growing number of waste transfer stations across the region. Civil Engineering contracting is operated from offices at Saltersford Lane, Chippenham and has contracts operating on the M3, M4 and also at Hinkley in Somerset.
MJ Church employs over 400 people. Training and developing staff has been a well-established tradition; continued through our Civil Engineering Academy partnerships with Wiltshire College. Reacting to demand from customers and subcontractors for health and safety training, the company has further developed its staff training team and facilities to offer training to subcontractors and local construction companies.
