Sheldon School Fine Dining Masterclass

The first of four Fine Dining Masterclasses was held at school last week hosted by Elior’sExecutive Chef Donald Marshall and Regional Operations Manager Paul Jarrott.

Fifteen parent and staff trainee chefs attended, and were taught how to create a Valentine’s dinner for two people comprising of a main course of Breast of Chicken with Pancetta, Wild Mushroom & Green Bean Cassoulet, Roasted New Potatoes with Paprika, Garlic & Parmesan, followed by a Clementine Cheesecake with shiny Chocolate Sauce.

Fun and laughter was had by all, and at the end of the evening all the attendees tucked into their hard work. It was a particularly memorable evening for 2 couples who attended as both husbands had been told they were coming to a Parents’ Evening! Instead they learned how to prepare and cook a delicious meal so that they can ‘surprise’ their other halves on Valentine’s Day.

Our next Fine Dining MasterClass will be on 6th April when guests will be shown how to make a family Easter lunch for 4 with a main course of Fillet of Pork with Mustard & Herbs, with Spring Vegetables & Gratin Potatoes followed by a Peach Melba Crumble. Places are limited so please reserve your place via ParentPay. Bon appetit!
