KS3 Writing Competition

Please join us in congratulating the following students for their outstanding pieces of writing for our first KS3 Writing Competition. Over 100 students entered the competition and our English faculty had a wonderful time reading all of the brilliant entries.

The theme for this year's competition was 'Out of Time' and students were asked to submit a response to the theme in the genre or style of their choice. The winners were selected for their creativity, originality and style. There were so many inspiring entries that it became a mammoth task narrowing it down to the top three. All students that entered should be incredibly proud of themselves and the effort they put into bringing their stories to life!

I was head girl in 2015 and loved being able to speak to parents about my time at Sheldon when they were considering where their children should go. Because of how it has shaped me as a person I feel I am who I am today because of my time there.
