New Prefect Breakfast

16 May 26

Last week we celebrated our new Prefects at our annual New Prefect Breakfast. Over 100 students in Year 10 applied for the leadership role within the school. Head of Year, Mr Wolff, said it was a tough decision to select the new group of Prefects as all candidates were impressive in their application letters and interviews.

During the breakfast, Prefects were given their new ties and badges to wear with pride. They will represent the school at events, assist with the transition of our new Year 7 students in September and will be role models within the school. Prefects now have the opportunity to apply to be part of the Senior Prefect Team with roles for Head and Deputy Head Students. Please join us in congratulating all of our new Prefects, as well as thanking our current Year 11 Prefects and Head Students for their hard work this school year.

My favourite teacher was Mr Girvan. It was impossible not to absolutely love English if he taught it. He was just the nicest human being and he never raised his voice at our class once and I had him for years from year 8 to year 12.
