Sports Day 2026

Our annual Sports Day was one for the record books with record heat and plenty of records smashed by our outstanding students! Held over three days, the Sheldon Sports Day is divided between field events (high jump, long jump, triple jump, javelin, shot put and discus) and track events. The entire school headed out to the field for an early morning of track events, cheering each other on and enjoying ice lollies sold by our ASDAN students. With temps reaching the upper 20s, the lolly sale was a hit and helped raise over £400 for Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance!

All of our students were great sports, whether participating in the events or cheering for their tutor group. Thank you to all the athletes that participated this year under extremely hot conditions and still gave it their all! We'd also like to thank all the PE Faculty for organising the events and helping motivate our students to always strive for their best. Thank you also to all the staff who helped with marshalling, time keeping, measuring distance and calculating results. It is a whole school effort to produce events like this and a great way to bring everyone in Sheldon together!
