Y12 Visit Charlie Bigham's

13 Jul 26
A fantastic finale to our Year 12 Business visits programme!

Our Year 12 Business students enjoyed an inspiring afternoon at Charlie Bigham’s in Somerset, where they were privileged to take part in the company's very first school visit.

The visit included a presentation from Charlie Bigham himself, offering valuable insights into the journey of building one of the UK's most successful premium ready-to-cook meal brands. Students also toured the site and kitchens, gaining a behind-the-scenes look at the operations, innovation and attention to quality that underpin the business.

To top it all off, we left with plenty of Charlie Bigham meals to enjoy over the coming days!

This visit marked the conclusion of an exceptional series of Year 12 Business enrichment visits this year, which have included Air Salvage International, Good Energy, Abbey Home Farm, Corston Architectural Detail, and now Charlie Bigham’s. These experiences have provided our students with invaluable real-world insights into a diverse range of successful organisations and industries.

A huge thank you to everyone at Charlie Bigham’s for such a warm welcome and memorable experience.

I was head girl in 2015 and loved being able to speak to parents about my time at Sheldon when they were considering where their children should go. Because of how it has shaped me as a person I feel I am who I am today because of my time there.
