Year 11 Prom
In June our Sheldon School Class of 2026 celebrated the end of Year 11 in style at our annual Prom at Grittleton House. It was a beautiful evening and a wonderful send off for our students after working so hard during exams. In fact, a lucky few even had exams that morning before assembling their glam squad!
In true Sheldon style, the students arrived in wide variety of vehicles. We saw everything from classic cars to tanks, busses to wheelbarrows and a very impressive motorcycle entourage! The dresses were every colour of the rainbow and the suits looked sharp. After arrivals, our guests of honour enjoyed a buffet, photobooth, casino and dancing into the late hours on the gorgeous garden terrace. A few even managed to watch a little of the England match!
The evening would not have been possible without the organisation of our Year 11 Pastoral Team of Mrs Oxley, Mr Bowen and Mr Merriman. Thank you to all the staff, parents and members of the Sheldon community who came out to watch the arrivals and celebrate our amazing students. We'd also like to thank all of the Sheldon Class of 2026 for helping make the night so special. We hope you all have a wonderful summer and we look forward to seeing you on Results Day -- Thursday 20 August at 8:30am in the Sheldon Sixth Form Study Room.
