Young Chefs Join Jamie's World Record Attempt

4 Jul 25

Earlier this week, 21 students in Year 7 and 8 joined Jamie’s Guinness World Records Attempt to be part of the largest group of students to participate in a cooking class. Chefs at Jamie Oliver’s Cookery School led a live, virtual cooking lesson, where the students learned to make homemade pasta tomato sauce. It was a tough decision to determine who to invite to join the record-breaking cooking lesson. In the end, we looked at who stood out in their DT food rotation this year and showed a real enthusiasm for food. Thank you to Mr Finch and Mr Humphries for organising the event. We hope all of our young chefs had a wonderful time and we can’t wait to hear if we smashed the record!

I was head girl in 2015 and loved being able to speak to parents about my time at Sheldon when they were considering where their children should go. Because of how it has shaped me as a person I feel I am who I am today because of my time there.
