Remembrance Day

11 Nov 25

Thank you to everyone who participated in our Remembrance Day Ceremony today, a moment for our school community to come together in reflection and respect. It wonderful to see so many students from cadets, scouts and guides wearing their uniform with pride. Our Remembrance Day display included giant poppies made by each tutor group in the school. We'd like to say a special thank you to Amber, Sayma, Lyla, Samuel, Isabella, Jaden and MK for their readings with Mr Lynch during the ceremony, as well as to Alice for joining Mr Goldsworthy in playing the Last Post. We would also like to share our appreciation for all the staff, former students and everyone in our Sheldon community who have served in the armed forces, past and present.

The school reinforced my core values and built friendships that have continued to this day, drama gave me the confidence to begin to stand in front of strangers and speak to groups.
