Y7 Christmas Market Trip

9 Dec 25

Our Year 7 students recently visited the Frankfurt Christmas Market in Birmingham to experience what a German Christmas Market feels, smells and tastes like...without having to stray too far from home! They had a chance to taste many German delights, including chocolate covered marshmallows, Kinderpunch, candied nuts, Pommes and really long Bratwurst! Many even did a bit of Christmas shopping before returning back to Chippenham in the evening.

Thank you to Frau Williams and our MFL Faculty for organising this fantastic trip and to all of the staff who have up their time to accompany the group. All of the children were a credit to the school and their families, with our staff reporting how impressed they were with this Year 7 group. They were polite, punctual, well mannered and in excellent spirits!

Having worked in many schools I can say that the environment at Sheldon School is one of the best I’ve ever seen. The standard of education and relationships I built with teachers were exceptional.
