EV Charging

As part of Sheldon’s School Climate Action Plan, we have installed six electric vehicle (EV) chargers on the wall at the end of the Sports Hall. These are now available for use by staff, parents and the wider community.
We’ve secured a competitive charging rate, lower than the local average:
- Day rate (07:00–17:00): £0.30 per kWh
- Evening/Overnight rate (17:01–06:59): £0.48 per kWh
All funds raised through the use of these chargers will be reinvested in the school to enhance the learning environment for our students.
To use the chargers, you’ll need to download an app – a short guidance document is attached with step-by-step instructions.
Please note: To ensure fair access for everyone, we kindly ask that cars are moved once charging is complete, rather than being left all day.
