We recently took a group of Young Carers on a trip to Jamie's Farm in Box. They were able to spend the day in the great outdoors and experience the good life while getting stuck-in to a variety of farm tasks. The students had the opportunity to get involved in farming, gardening, cooking and lambing! Within a few minutes of our arrival, we were able to help deliver two new baby lambs.

It was an unforgettable experience that provided our Young Carers with a chance to engage in purposeful work and have a change from their daily routine. We were impressed by their willingness to get involved and enjoyed spending the day with such a lovely group of young people.

Childhood shapes who you become (as we say at the NSPCC) and Sheldon was a big part of that.
