Lego Challenge

Throughout the last term, Year 7 students were engaged in a fierce Lego engineering challenge. During the first two heats, each Year 7 tutor group sent a team to compete after school to build the tallest tower (with some tricky challenges set my Mr Grainger to keep it interesting). The top three teams then competed to build the longest structure that could support a weight off the edge of the science tables. In the end DME took home the prize by only a few millimetres!

Thank you to all of the teams that participated for their incredible enthusiasm and ingenuity, and to Mr Grainger for organising the annual challenge. It is a wonderful way to ignite their passion for STEM at Sheldon!

Looking back with hindsight and at the overall picture, I absolutely loved my time at Sheldon.
