Mock Exam Stats

Well done to all the students in Year 11 and Year 13 for completing your mock exams over the last 10 days. We hope that you all felt confident in your exams and better prepared for your summer exams. You have all been very impressive in your commitment to revision for mocks -- keep it up over the next few months!

We thought you might be interested in some stats from this year's mock exams. Over the 10-day period we had 418 candidates sitting 56 exams, totally 2125 papers. We even added a maths challenge for 58 students in the lower school in between exam sittings!

This is a huge undertaking that requires a great deal of coordination from all areas of the school. Thank you to our stellar exam team, Mrs Shirley and Miss Rice, for coordinating everything, as well as our dedicated invigilators. We'd also like to thank the IT Team, Facilities, Catering and Cover for their support in making sure that mock exams run smoothly alongside the regular school day. A huge thank you goes to everyone Learning Support for their work before, during and after mocks to make sure that students with access arrangements get the support they need, as well as our incredible Year Head teams for supporting and encouraging students throughout the process. The biggest thank you of all must go to our students who were exceptional during last week and a half.

Our teachers are currently marking all mock exams and will give results to Year 13 soon. Students in Year 11 will receive their results during the mock envelope opening afternoon on Thursday 5 March. While you're waiting for results, keep up with your Revision Olympics. Don't forget that you can find all of the resources you need on our website for both Year 11 and Year 13.
