During National Apprenticeship Week, we had a number of events to help our students learn more about apprenticeship opportunities after they leave school. We held several Lunchtime Pop-Ups were employers set up tables outside the Refectory to speak directly to students. Sheldon Sixth Form students also had special workshops and assemblies to learn more about degree apprenticeships from Dale Willis of the charity My Great First Job, as well as the employment-ready courses available at Wiltshire College and University Centre.

We'd like to thank everyone who visited our school last week, including:

  • McDonalds
  • CRB Engineering Ltd
  • Access Creative College, Bristol
  • Amazon
  • My Great First Job
  • Wiltshire College and University Centre

If our students would like to learn more about apprenticeships, they can visit our Careers Hub and speak with Miss Witchell our Careers Advisor. They should also keep any eye out for opportunities in the Careers Newsletter and Sixth Form Notes in their student email inbox.
