New Pool Table for Common Room

Christmas came early in our Sixth Form Common Room with the delivery of a new pool table! As part of our ongoing refurbishment of the space, we are adding more games and activities so that students can enjoy socialising when they are taking a break from their studies. The pool table has been a popular feature this week and we have been enjoying seeing so many students (and staff) playing a quick game throughout the day. Don't forget, we are still trying to build up our games cupboard, so if you have any board games, puzzles, card games or chess sets, please send them in!

Thank you to former Chair of Governors, Louise Carver, for her generous donation to the Sheldon Sixth Form refurbishment that allowed us to purchase the pool table.

My favourite teacher was Mr Girvan. It was impossible not to absolutely love English if he taught it. He was just the nicest human being and he never raised his voice at our class once and I had him for years from year 8 to year 12.
