PE Round Up - Term 4

It has been a fantastic term for our sports teams as we finally start to get some sunny weather and dry pitches!

Our Girls Hockey teams had an excellent matches against a strong Corsham outfit, building well for future games. The Year 7 girls fielded two teams and played 6 games against Corsham with a final score of 4-2 to Sheldon!

Our Varsity Boys Football competition with Hardenhuish continued with a dominant force from Sheldon. Our Year 9 A team won 5-0, Year 9 B team won 9-0 and our Year 10 boys won 4-1!

The Year 9 Boys Football team also played a cracking game in the County Cup, taking revenge after last year's loss to Stonehenge. They won 2-0 with great support from the sidelines!

Along with these matches, we've had great fun in all of our PE classes and after school PE clubs. We're looking forward to the summer term with all of the great sports that begin after the break--including athletics, cricket and rounders!

I didn’t realise until I was older that the things i learned weren’t all academic - I was shown how to be a better person and express myself due to some really amazing teachers.
