On Monday, a group of 30 students from Years 7-9 volunteered to spend their lunch break picking up litter around the Donkey Fields and Hardenhuish Brook. The group collected bottles, cardboard boxes, plastic wrappers, dog waste bags and much more rubbish that would have ended out polluting our local environment. We had several people stop to thank the students for efforts. Joining a litter pick counts as a Be Kind event for students working towards their character awards. There will be more opportunities to join litter picks throughout the term. Students can sign up to join the fun on epraise and can find out more details from their tutor.

Thank you to all of the students and staff that helped improve the environment around our school!

Sheldon gave me confidence in my abilities and supported my ambitions. Going to a state school has many benefits over private in terms of real-world experience and being friends with a varied group of students. This has helped me in my life since school.
