Sixth Form Induction

Last week we welcomed the students that will be joining Sheldon Sixth Form for Year 12 in September to our induction programme. The new Sheldon Sixth Form Class of 2027 met their new Head of Year, spent time with their new tutor groups, attended taster sessions of their chosen courses and learned more about the elective and enrichment opportunities available next year. They also enjoyed team building activities with their new tutor group. This is one of the highlights of the start of Sixth Form, as students learn how to communicate and work together through a series of challenging activities set up by our PE Faculty.

We hope that everyone had a fantastic two-days and that you are looking forward to beginning a new chapter of your educational career at Sheldon Sixth Form. We will see many of you on GCSE Results Day – Thursday 21 August 2025. There will be an opportunity to speak with Mr Spiers and Miss Frater about your Sixth Form Options on Results Day, as well as the beginning of the year.

Year 12 will begin on Thursday 4 September with tutor registration and assembly at 8:25am. You’ll also get your school photo taken that morning for your new Sheldon Sixth Form ID card.
