World Tap Champion

10 Nov 25

Huge congratulations to Amelie in Y10 for being crowned World Champion at the International Dance Organisation World Tap Championships for the second time! Amelie traveled to Prague at the end of October to compete with 1700 dancers representing 21 countries. She competed in the Junior 2 category, despite being a year younger than everyone else in the age group! During her trip to the ICO World Tap Championships, Amelie was ranked 1st in Junior Formation, 6th in the Junior 2 Solo female category and 10th in the Junior 2 Duo category.

We are so proud of everything that Amelie has accomplished in her dance career so far! If you have ever attended our Sheldon Dance showcase, you'll know what a delight it is to watch her perform.

Sheldon gave me confidence in my abilities and supported my ambitions. Going to a state school has many benefits over private in terms of real-world experience and being friends with a varied group of students. This has helped me in my life since school.
