Y10 Netball Success

Our Year 10 netball teams had a very successful tournament at the Devizes school area tournament earlier this week. Sheldon A team won the cup, coming in first overall and Sheldon B team cam in third!

It was a hard fought battle for Team A's win. They lost 13-3 against Kingsbury Green Academy in the first round, only to meet them again in the final--winning 8-4. All their other games were won comfortably. We were the only school with two teams in the tournament, showing the strength of our netball programme at Sheldon.

All 14 girls should be very proud of themselves. They were absolutely amazing and showed great grit and determination. We'd like to shout out Keira, Heidi, Eve and Blaise for being amazing captains, as well as our brilliant PE faculty for supporting the teams!

My favourite subject was maths because of my teacher Mr Davies who I would love to thank personally one day as I used to hate maths. I love making on impact on my students lives and knowing that I can do what Mr Davies did for me. Inspire.
