Congratulations Cross Country Champs!

Congratulation to our Sheldon Cross Country Champions for their outstanding performance at the English Schools Athletic Association National Cross Country Championships at Pontefract Racecourse in Leeds on Saturday 16 March 2024.

The four Sheldon students selected to represent Wiltshire ran amazing races with Harry coming in 9th place in the Senior Boys Race! Josh placed 59th and Ned 279th out of 307 runners in the field. Sophie was the top finisher for Wiltshire team in the Junior girls race, placing 176th out of 339 runners.

We are all very proud of our Sheldon runners and expect to see more successes from them in the future!

I was head girl in 2015 and loved being able to speak to parents about my time at Sheldon when they were considering where their children should go. Because of how it has shaped me as a person I feel I am who I am today because of my time there.
