Sixth Form Information Evening
Thursday 9 November from 6pm
Join us to learn more about studying at Sheldon and to explore our school.
The evening has four main elements to it:
• A general presentation about the Sixth Form
• Subject presentations
• Subject stalls
• Enrichment opportunities – Project 5000 + Electives
General Presentations
Join Mr Eugene Spiers, Head of Sixth Form, in the main school hall at 6:15pm and 6:45pm. Each Presentation will last about 25 minutes.
Subject Presentations
These will last 15 minutes and will be repeated four times during the event at 6:20pm, 6:50pm, 7:20pm and 7:50pm.
Subject Stalls
If you would like to know about a subject but do not have the time to attend the subject presentations, then you can simply visit their stall. Both teaching staff and current students will be on hand to answer your questions.
Enrichment Opportunities – Project 5000 + Electives
There will be displays in the refectory about many of the enrichment opportunities on offer including The Duke of Edinburgh Award – Gold, Ten Tors, Sixth Form Games, British Sign Language, Beginners Russian, Beginners Spanish, Extended Project Qualification, Volunteering and mentoring.
During the evening, please help yourself to refreshments and samples of some of the delicious food on offer to our students.
Senior Staff will also be on hand to answer any general questions you might have.
