Sheldon is putting the FUN in fundraising this week as we raise money for Comic Relief's Red Nose Day! Comic Relief is a charity that is working to end poverty at home and abroad through the power of entertainment.

This Friday (15 March) is a non-uniform day. We'd like to ask that students bring in £1 to donate to Comic Relief if they do not wear a uniform. Red noses are optional!

Our Library Assistants have also organised a Teddy Tombola and competition to win a jar of sweets. It's 25p per go, so bring in pocket money to join the fun!

The Sixth Form will have a 'Sheldon Takes Family Fortunes' students v. staff game during P4 on Friday. Tickets to watch the competition are £2, cash only.

We don't want to keep the fun contained to just one day, so we will be holding bake sales Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. We'd appreciate any cake donations (without nuts) on your year group's day.

  • Wednesday 13 March: Year 7 & Year 11
  • Thursday 14 March: Year 8 & Year 9
  • Friday 15 March: Year 10 & Sixth Form

Thank you to everyone for organising events and to our Sheldon community for generously supporting this wonderful cause!

Childhood shapes who you become (as we say at the NSPCC) and Sheldon was a big part of that.
